Seeking of knowledge is an obligation upon every muslim.
As we all know, awareness is the first step towards seeking knowledge about anything in general.
During the recent pandemic which we have all experienced, some visionary muslim women realised the need of an online platform for disseminating religious knowledge and promoting skill development amongst our fellow muslim girls & muslim women.
Thus, the seeds for this ‘Bintul Muslim Council’ organisation were sown, Alhamdulillah. This journey has just begun and we have a long way to go, In sha Allah.
Our Activities
Taleem Classes
This includes educating our girls & women about the basics of Islam like Pillars Of Islam, Articles Of Faith etc.
Workshops
This includes organising activities & competitions & interactive sessions for our girls & women, so as to enhance their self-confidence, self-esteem and overall personality development. We keep organising 2/3 days workshops on a quarterly basis.
Tarbiyati Classes
This includes guiding our girls & women about upbringing related concepts & techniques in the light of Qur’an, Sunnah & Islamic Psychology.
Social Reform Campaigns
This includes involving our girls & women into reform activities against certain social evils rampant in our society in general and our community in particular like dowry, extravagant wedding celebrations, domestic violence etc.
Empowerment Sessions
This includes making our girls & women aware about the core elements of Islam as well as creating awareness regarding the contemporary issues of our Ummah.
Skill Development Courses
This is particularly aimed at upskilling our girls and women so that they can turn to these skills of theirs during times of financial crisis.
